Heard a Knoxville radio host tonight say "this game will no doubt influence Tennessee's 2017 recruiting class ."

Agree?

It's not important in the sense that recruits are gonna jump on board when we win.

It's important because it's such a huge game for this program and for Butch's lifespan as a coach. Huge credibility game.

Knoxville will be toxic with a loss on Saturday. It will be electric with a win.

Yes, butch can no longer sell playing time. He has to sell results and if UT doesn't get it done Saturday it would almost guarantee another mediocre season.

Hard to argue with that point of view.. Although there are plenty of different scenarios that could play out over the course of this year.. We could lost to Florida on Saturday and run the table after and we would be a hot proven commodity at 11-1.. No doubt though this streak has to come to an end to validate the trajectory of this program

It will influence our recruiting big time because if we lose our fans will have e-riots all over social media.

We already lost D4H imagine all the others we will lose if streak gets to 12. And recruits will see our apathy again and say naw I'll go somewhere else to play.

Yup. It's a must win game. No doubt about it.

I'm kinda in this camp. I think the next month as a whole is bigger than any one game. But from a fan perspective, Saturday is as big as it gets.

For CBJ this game is his career turning point. If he wins he's credible and his process is as well. He loses and he's done, no credibility and no future. His next recruiting landmark will be a great realtor. I wish him luck!

CBJ & company need to win this game no matter how they can get it done. I don't care how ugly it may get either. It's a just win baby type of game. It will just hurt the recruiting part even more if we lose.

That's unless we lose this one & go onto win the rest of our games & go 11-1. I still think we need to beat UF to solidify our recruiting program. We can't expect recruits to come to Knoxville losing to them 12 times in a row & counting if it does happen.

Win in any fashion that we can. That's all there is to it. I don't care if we win with a safety. Just win this critical game CBJ & company. Thanks!

If we win them all, UT has arrived again.

3-1, championship hopes still in play pending SECCG

2-2 about par with Butch's methodical progression

1-3, is there trouble on the hill? Team didn't live up to the hype

0-4, staff loses the team and we're looking for a coach late November

If we win I think Akers comes here. I think trey smith is already coming but he will definitely come. It might make Higgins reconsider. You never know.

If we lose, Akers might not come here, smith will still come, and Higgins stays at Clemson.

This is all speculation. Winning helps more than losing hurts in this case I think.

This and uga are both huge for recruiting...need to win both to keep getting better prospects

Perpetually losing to Florida didn't keep Fulmer from assembling some of the most talent we've ever seen on the Hill. Need a whole buncha W's either way.

More important to us fans than recruits, IMO.

Do you have the complete visitor list for Saturday? TIA

VQ will post their list in the war room Friday morning.

Isn't Gibbs & Wade the only 2 for sure coming to the UF game? I thought I read that from a Google article recently.

There may be others as well but those two players I seen mentioned in an article to attend the UF game or trying to make it to the game. I believe one of them is an unofficial visit though. Thanks!

Rivalries are important. I mean that's what makes college football so great. We've won like 1 game against our two biggest Rivals since 2005?

I think going 10-2 with losses to UF and UA would be worse from a recruiting standpoint than going 5-7 and beating both teams.
