How is USC's program in better shape than ours

They about to be 6-1 and our program is IRRELEVANT and appears to stay that way for a while.

They're the only major program in a very talent rich state. Heck, they're the only major program on the west coast for that matter (not counting Oregon until they stop wetting the bed in big games). Not exactly hard to recruit.

Their talent pool wasn't left on empty when LK got there.

With 2 years probation and scholarship reductions? Its just not fair.

Maybe because the scholarship reductions haven't came into effect until this year. They are still playing with Carrol's and Kiffin's unsanctioned recruits.

Plus the only decent team they played against is Notre Dame, and Notre Dame isn't any good either.

They have a qb and not many freshmen start. My question is how is USC so average?

So you think they will slide in the next few years? I hope you are right, but it seems like they haven't slowed much. Just isn't any justice in the NCAA right now. Programs are getting away with murder.

You'd kill for UT to be 6-1 right now.

Yep. Especially if we had beaten LSU and Bama. Not quite the same. USC is an average team nothing more.

They have played Minnesota-GARBAGE
Syracuse- Mediocre at best
Utah- look at thier score against Cal
Arizona State- Took USC to the woodshed
Arizona- Mediocre
California-Mediocre
Notre Dame- Decent

USC almost lost to Arizona, Minnesota, Utah, and got it handed to them by Arizona St. Give them Florida, Georgia, LSU, and Alabama. Hell, Cincy would light their ass up like ASU did.
