I don’t know what it is, but at least in football, we pretty much always play well down there. Our worst defeat in Baton Rouge was by 10 points in 1974. The Vols’ overall record in Baton Rouge is 9-4-2. Part of it is that we rarely play there, but there have been some pretty mediocre or bad teams that won or should’ve won down there (2005 and 2010 come to mind).

Will “Big Hips” Wade was manager of his HS basketball team at FRA in Nashville. I had no problem seeing that BOS lose.
