intrinsic value is what it is and there is no way in hell that current pricing reflects it. Anyone wanting to just by some SPDRs can make great money over the coming weeks.

After the stock market crash of 1929 it took 26 years and a World War for the Dow to recover to the '29 level.

Don't be so sure. It's been 18 years since the Nikkei Stock Exchange (the Japanese version of the Dow) collapsed in 1990. It still hasn't recovered.

but they had a nationalized banking system with all kinds of systemic issues in their economy. Aside from a few companies, which are traded here, their small business economy is nonexistent because they have no entrepreneurial culture.

I'm not saying we'll roar out soon, but the stage is being set now for our lenders to lend again and borrowers to borrow again.

Dont step in right now, dont try to be a hero. Thats Gambling. The market is parabolic and I wouldnt be a buyer until we break that pattern, when we do find support and the market is no longer in free fall, then you can buy, thats investing
Oh, like I said, if that were just money I wasn't depending on, I'd do it. Instead I'm sitting on the cash. I'm likely to need it in the next 2-3 months.

Thanks for the concern. :)
