How many FAU guys are at FAU next yr

I’m sorry, but any job in the Big 10 is a better job than Conference USA.
Well one, FAU is joining the AAC next season. Secondly, why take a below average P6 job that has little upside when you could get a much better job next season? Let’s say that May stays and they have an average season. Do you really think people still won’t be knocking on his door next year? He just took FAU to the final four. His stock isn’t falling anytime soon.

Before FAU won this game ,I think there was five out of the eight teams in the Elite 8 that have never made the Final Four. That's crazy.... It's also why I love college basketball. I also noticed in this game (outside of the rebounding by FAU) was how much speed was on the court and how fast paced the game was. Not making a slight against any team out there. Just notice where the game might be heading.

Dusty’s wife might ask “we left Boco for State College?”

Seriously, some big programs with NIL $ will go after FAU guys. There’s about 4 I’d like to see in orange

Is it already official that he's going to Penn St.? The more I think about it,it almost is a worse move on go to Penn State. They're moving up in a new conference next year.

It’s not official by any means, but I guarantee he’s the top of their shortlist.

Connecticut Or Gonzaga smokes FAU
I doubt it. UCONN is the best team left. So maybe they would/ will, though I'm not betting against the owls. But FAU has better defense and team speed than Gonzaga, and has an offense that can at least stay in touch. I see them giving Timme & Co all sorts of problems.

Yupp. Remember Loyola Chicago….lol. Scrappy team, well disciplined, tough, and they executed. If you’re mid major, you’ve gotta find a way to compete with upper echelon talent. Having those guards on the court and spreading teams out is a great way to get the game at your pace.

Close - four who had never been: FAU, Creighton, SD State & Miami.

Maybe, but both would have to make the championship game for that to happen. FAU plays the Creighton-SDSU winner next Saturday.

FAU can beat SD St. if they hit 3s (Bama couldn’t) they could be in the finals. OMG.

Heard that when they played Memphis, UT and now K State. Yet FAU is in the final freaking 4.
Yea your right they are, good luck when was the last time a non power 5 conference didn't win Championship. In basketball. Getting there a great accomplishment them winning it doubtful. Connecticut or Gonzaga winner or Texas if they make it will win it but it was a good run

Gives us your expert opinion why They get smoked? Teach us some basketball.
I'm watching national title game right now UCONN vs Gonzaga. Connecticut is bigger and just as fast as FAU and Sanogo is a damn man.Never said FAU was horrible but UCONN different level as well as Gonzaga

Wouldn’t shock me for May to get just enough of a raise and commitment to facility upgrade to get him to stick around until his dream job comes open. Maybe he will jump at PSU and surprise me, but he could stay and keep most of those guys in the fold and capitalize on being the man of the hour by adding to that roster a couple quality players. We will see, but he’s living in a beautiful and warm city right now, so maybe they keep him a year or two longer.

That won't happen, since Gonzaga is out.
