I dont know how we finish this year but at least 2 more than whatever we win this year would be a good start!

May not win 6 games next year... Losing a lot of players.., gotta replace "O" line and some Defensive players also. I hope I have to eat crow!! Thought we had a chance to win 8 this year but not looking good at this time...

Looking at our potential Depth Chart, recruiting class, and schedule. We should look a lot better next year. Especially if Worley improves every week. I say we win 7-8 games next year.

Wins over Utah State, Arkansas St, @Oklahoma (yes I said it), Ole Miss, Missouri, UTC, Vandy, and Kentucky. Maybe even UF next year.

The sky is the limit guys so we can only hope we see improvement.

5 wins next season!

We will replace the entire offensive line and alot of players on the defensive line.

Realistically, I see it being a 6-6 year. We are not going to Oklahoma and winning. Anyone who thinks Ole Miss is a pushover, look at when we played them without depth (2010) and when they did have depth (2011). Ole Miss's recruiting is NOT dropping any either folks. Who is to say Mizzou is gonna weak? They will be in year 3 of the SEC with the same coach and same system. Plus, we lose a lot. My hope is that Tiny and AJ come back. That would help. I am just worried too many people think that we are a lock to improve in the win columns year by year. However, the majority of our fans have admitted that this is a 5 year build. Right now, I am looking for 3 bowls in Butch's first 3 years. I don't care what the bowls are and if we are 18-18 in 3 regular seasons from now. Year 4 and 5 is when we should realistically demand SEC Title game appearances and higher tier bowl games.

Hate him or not, Gary Danielson was right during the Florida game. Butch had to convince the Juniors and Seniors to mentor the young guys this year and next year. I hate every day that these kids got screwed over by Kiff, Dools, and Hamilton in their 4 years here. They aren't winning and titles or any awards, but the effect of being vocal and helping Butch lay the foundation will be bigger than anything on the field that can be done.

That is all!

Ranking the 2014 Games - Easiest to Toughest with guesses at the betting lines. If the line play fall off is less than expected, we can win 8. 2015 is going to be big.

We should be heavily favored in these games, but none of these teams are Austin Peay by a longshot. Chattanooga, in fact, beat Peay 42-10. Utah State is losing a lot of their 2-deep or that would be a scary game.

Oct. 11 Chattanooga Knoxville -28
Sept. 6 Arkansas State Knoxville -21
Aug. 30 Utah State Knoxville -17

We should be favored in these games as well. Vandy will play a non-conference schedule that would make Tennessee Tech blush, so they could have a winning record when we face them.

Nov. 15 Kentucky * Knoxville -15
Nov. 22 Missouri * Knoxville -7
Nov. 29 at Vanderbilt * Nashville -6

Winning one or two of these would be huge. Ole Miss is a big game for West Tenn recruting.

Oct. 18 at Ole Miss * Oxford, Miss. +2
Oct. 4 Florida * Knoxville + 6
Sept. 13 at Oklahoma Norman, Okla. + 9

I expect these teams to still be on top and there are two tough road games.

Nov. 1 at South Carolina * Columbia, SC +10
Sept. 27 at Georgia * Athens, Ga. +14
Oct. 25 Alabama * Knoxville + 17

Completely delusional. A completely rebuilt offensive line is going to make next season more difficult than this year. We also lose a big part of our defensive line as well. We'll struggle to win 6 next year. 3rd or 4th year we should turn the corner.

The O-Line is the key for next year. These are the guys currently listed in the depth chart who have eligibility.

74 A. Richardson | 6-6, 320, JR
65 Jacob Gilliam | 6-4, 287, RS JR

We all expect Tiny to go pro. What if he stays? If not, can Orlando Brown at 6-7 340 take that spot. I think he can. He won't weigh 340 after the S&C program, though.

The other positions don't have as big of a drop off.

77 Kyler Kerbyson | 6-4, 306, RS SO

75 Marcus Jackson | 6-2, 307, JR

71 Dylan Wiesman | 6-3, 308, FR

57 Mack Crowder | 6-2, 280, RS SO

We also have Austin Sanders and Brett Kendrick from the 2013 class

We also have Ray Raulerson and Coleman Thomas coming for 2014.

If we can get a Juco lineman like Dontavius Blair, the offensive line will be just fine.

No need to panic.

Ole Miss and Oklahoma will be much bigger favorites than that.

Quite possibly. Ole Miss plays Bama, then A&M in the weeks before our game. Obviously, if they do well in those games and we aren't looking good, then they'd be a very large favorite.

But it could go badly for them as well.

I could see UT winning the first 5,6 on the list and then winning none (or one) of the rest.

Clowney will be gone as will Shaw and others. USCe has not recruited at the top of the SEC and is unlikely to remain at the top next fall.

I could honestly see UT started 5-0, 6-0 and then winning none (or one) of the rest.

Tough backend of the schedule.

Not trying to give you a bad time but UK, Vandy, and Mizzou isn't the tough part of that schedule.

The front of the schedule including Utah St and Ark St make a pretty tough start.

Was hoping my fail was overlooked lulz. My mistake.
