Same can be said for automobiles, yet laws exist.
And laws don't exist for guns? It's not about laws, it's about wanting more and stricter laws that will have no effect on the problem that needs to be fixed. There's no reason for laws that do not and will not address the problem at hand.

And it is a good thing too. Could you imagine if we didn't?
People would...
Drive above the posted limit.
Drive while intoxicated.
Women would drive the wrong way on one way streets.
Drive without a license.
Street race
have road rage.

Come to think of it ..... Maybe they should be banned too.

It makes for a better yet completely irrelevant per capita chart that completely ignores total crime.

Nailed it. Speed limits are posted and are exceeded 99% of the time and even the police are OK with it within a certain tolerance.

You made the above statement as if you're a neutral analyst of the debate, when in fact there's no circumstance in which you'd say, "Hey gun control people have a good point!"
Show me a good point. I haven’t seen one yet in two years of posting on this topic in this forum. My initial posts in this thread were genuine questions. What changed? It wasn’t the guns they are a constant or actually are increasing in this case.

Hey maybe it’s because the government over stepped their authority and stomped our civil liberties and ordered us to not work and stay home. And paid is to be dependent on them!

That must be the fix!

The difference is the laws are setup to punish offenders when they break the law. Not prohibit law abiding citizens for something they MIGHT do. That’s idiotic.

So clearly it’s a people problem.

So yesterday you made an argument, albeit idiotic, on the premise and today you don’t want to talk about it?
No, I do not want to answer innumerable questions about it. If you want to make a counterargument. state it with your own facts. If not, then GFO.

Ok take your ball and go home. Would appear you’ve got nothing to counter the “people problem” statement then. Works for me.

Not sure you understand this whole debate concept You counter my statement, DA, instead of peppering me with questions.

oh yeah I recognize deflection when I see it. He made a statement in the form of a question pointing to the dumbassery of gun free zones. You deflected, got pissy, and took your ball and went home.

I could not care any less about what anyone says, good or bad.
Then why should anyone care what you say or think? Why even post if you have no interest in dialogue? The inability and unwillingness to find common ground is what is tearing this country apart.
