How many people that are questioning if we are in

I think it would be better if they invited some actual "basketball" people to be on the committee. It's very telling when just about anyone and everyone that gets paid to watch and report on college basketball looks at your bracket and goes "that's just wrong". Speaking mostly of Louisville getting only a 4 seed.

I think the committee spends to much time "rewarding", "punishing" and "sending messages".

I agree, the director of the committee was wake forest's AD, guess he sent us a message about beating the demon deacons.

I look at it like this. We made the NCAAT because we have the opportunity to win the NCAAT. If we did not play in the NCAAT, we would not have that opportunity and we would be playing in the NIT. Those who bet we would not make the NCAAT lost their money.

All of this is jmo:

Tennessee is technically IN the tourney. Anyone who bet against them making it owes up. The NCAA refers to it as the first round and Tennessee is in the tournament field.

Now from a fan's perspective: Many people, including myself, feel the tournament doesn't start until Thursday. The notion that 60 teams receive a bye and 8 teams play in the "first round" is laughable. What the NCAA calls the "first round" is in all reality a play in game. I think most people realize this but don't like to hear others undermining the Vols situation.

Have to agree with this, we can call it a "First Four" or a "First Round", people can call it what ever they want. Like Big Z said, the national perception is that these are play-in games.
