How Many Points will Vols give up to Utah State

24 points, defense will need to adjust during the game. Lots of new guys playing. Defense has bad history last year against the type of quarterback Utah State has. I think the offense will be able to put 35 points on the board.. Wide receivers plus running backs plus depth..

Sorry Vols, I just don't see Neyland being a big factor. Our guys tend to thrive on this kind of thing anyway. It appeals to their underdog, blue-collar, chip-on-the-shoulder nature.

Chuckie Keeton walked onto the field as a true freshman at the defending National Champs, Auburn, in 2011 after having spent 3 weeks in the Utah State system and he took them to the wire. You think he'll be nervous now as a senior?

I'm not necessarily predicting a Utah State win, but I will make a few predictions for the end of the game.

1. I predict a game similar to our games against Auburn, Wiscy, and USC. UT fans will know they have been in a fight. They might even feel like they got beat up a bit. But they will like and respect our program for the way they play the game.

2. UT fans will wonder how in the heck a bunch of 2 stars, no stars, and walkons can combine together to become a very solid college team despite not having the big conference name, the big stadium, the big TV contract, the BCS $$$, etc.

3. UT fans will want to sack your coaches and hire ours.

-Delusional at best.

I'll hang up and listen.

17 at most, Vols will score close to 30, maybe a few more, game never in question. US is way over hyped, they lost a ton, and are not deep anywhere. UT will drill them.

Every USU fan I've talked to doesn't seem to think that crowd noise will be a factor. I have a feeling they're in for a rude awakening.

Gotta give the guy (or girl.. had to do this in today's world) he sticks to his colors. I could talk for an hour about this game, so alas..... all I will say is play tough.. play hard.. and "whip de azzzz"

Seriously, for years.. Years ago, I would be at the games and was confused why the stadium was not any louder..... my only reasoning was all the people that had season tickets were 77 years old!

I know we feel like we are a Huge crowd here on VN, but when you put a few hundred of us in the crowd of 102,455... we are not that loud. I HOPE the fans can understand the importance of yelling for the Vols.... not just the first five minutes of the game...... we are young for the most part... these guys will play better if they feel the excitement from the crowd. Yell your head off VN, and get the fat girl three seats over to stop eating and yell something :) (thought I would help the USU fans with their stereotype there):p

Go Vols:dance2:
