How many TDs does UT win by this weekend?

I'm feeling good about this weekend because people are questioning UT. I think this is a breakout week. Bama has been struggling and our defense can handle them. I think we light them up for at least 5 TDs and beat them by 2 TDs.
I can see that, too. We are literally so close to hitting on so many of our plays. A few inches on a pass, a correct block, a QB run opportunity...if those things gel AND our defense remains consistent, Neyland will be rocking!

I hope I am wrong . . . But there are zero indicators this offense will “break out” with this oline and a struggling / young QB. I foresee tons of holding penalties on UT to continue to put our offense in 1st or 2nd and long.

UT needs to score on the first or second drive of the game.

The two best players on the field (raw athleticism and raw talent wise) are playing for Bama - Milroe and Ryan Williams.

If UT wins will be something like:

27-20 or 24 - 20 or 24 - 21

I think to win a close one . . . UT will need at least one defensive score off of a turnover and at least one TD pass from Nico. They won’t let Sampson beat them.

You may be correct. Josh, Inc. is aware of the fall season of discontent among fans. Consequently, he will pull out all stops, and fuel the Vol engine with aluminum and ammonium perchlorate.

I REALLY hope you’re right. As a fan I go into every season as if the VOLS are undefeated and going to win a Natty. I go into every game believing VOLS will win (“You play to win the game.”)

Reality is that the TN offense has digressed this season. In the past 3 games against SEC competition the VOLS have been held scoreless 5 quarters. Heupel and team must get the offense rolling or the remainder of the season will be very long and ugly.

The reality is that Tennessee bumped into SEC competition. This ain't Chattanooga, Kent State, or NCST.

If Bama can lose to Candy and almost lose to USCjr they can certainly lose to us in Neyland Stadium.

This is not the same level of Bama team from 2022 and I don't think UT is as bad as they have played. I think everyone knows this is the game of the year (we won't win at at UGA) this is the time to pull out all the stops go for it on every 4th down, run all the trick plays and ball out on Bama.

I’ve learned it’s pointless to make these types of predictions that give off “feels like ‘98” vibes.

If Bama focuses on stopping the run, it will be stressful game for UT fans with more of the same - three and out and ride the defense. Bama has deficiencies also, they did lose to Vandy. Probably gonna be an ugly game like Florida.

Using your same logic, TN can lose to Vandy this year. Do not go into any game this year being absolutely prepared for war and a game plan for battle.

Some of you remind me of the black knight scene from “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”. No arms, no legs and you think it’s “just a flesh wound” and are still talking smack. Vols by fiddy.
