How Much and Where to Play Moore?

If that is what happened, then why are some folks complaining about the number of minutes Moore played?

Moore had 6 points and 4 rebounds in 11 minutes. Graves had 8 points and 7 rebounds in 35 minutes. Burdick had 4 points and 2 rebounds in 22 minutes. You multiply that out you see that Moore would have had 18 points and 12 rebounds if she played 33 minutes. She would have had 12 points and 8 rebounds if she played the same minutes as Burdick. I think she was playing as hard as either of those players and certainly put up better numbers. The difference between winning and losing may have been Moore we'll never know she didn't play enough for that to be determined.

You pointed out the problem ! Graves had 8 points and 7 rebounds in 35 minutes. Burdick had 4 points and 2 rebounds in 22 minutes. Yet Holly still don`t get it. This should be the front court Izzy, Moore, Nared, Yet Holly said in a interview that they have been working with Graves on her faceup game please ! I have yet to see and it`s been 3 years. I`m seeing the same thing with her can not go left miss layups hitting the bottom of the rim. Nared is a fr but has much more talent then Graves,Burdick and Jones.

Graves has no length anyone over six feet can block or change her shot. Moore has length and can get her shot off over most players and especially UTC players. The total debacle was they were out rebounding us once in the first half 23 to 13. They got at least five or six second chance baskets. This can't happen total lack of effort from this team. In the second half they came out and hit the boards and ending up winning the rebound edge for the game. The problem was you have to do it for 40 minutes not 20. Their lack of desire is shocking. After three minutes into the game I would have called a timeout and lit this team up like they had never been lit up before. I would have found five players that wanted to play in that half if I had to use the ball girl.

You can overlook offense if you defend, cos most good teams are going to take away what you want to do, thats when your athletes take over. Lady Vols last two Championship wasn't won with our superior offense, it was defense and rebounding, won those games.

A player scores 12 but give up 15 to the opposing team's player, -3, that's not how you play the game and certainly not how you coach the game. A person scores 7, but gives up 7, 8 points below the opposing player's average, with a couple of steals, rebounds, and assist. You keep em on the floor.

I can see a few different star players going off on us, it depends on the strategy, sometimes you try to take that player a way mano y mano. But now most team best player we can throw, Draya, Jasmine, Jannah at em

But for a guard, the challenge is harder, if they are an elite player they can score from the rim to 3 point line, so you can play that team to let the star player get hers and shut everyone else down.

Offense sells tickets. Defense and Rebounding wins Championship. You can say what you want about offense, but even Uconn wins with great defense and rebounding, those extra positions, and efficiency matters and make their offense look good. Don't be fooled.

Lady Vols basketball, beat em down and let our athleticism take over.

The game against TEXAS in four days will be interesting. We will get a good feel about just how good Tennessee is.

How players perform against bad basketball teams at the beginning of the season means nothing.

Texas leads the BIG 12 in rebounding, and they have already defeated STANFORD and UCLA (not very good) on the road.

Tennessee better be ready to put out a tremendous effort if they have any hope for winning this game.

We have a shot if Harrison plays she is a difference making player. We also need Moore in there more than Graves or Burdick. We need to see Middleton a little more instead of Reynolds. I like Reynolds but she can't score. She should backup Massengale at the point.

None of em can defend, so it really doesn't matter. The door is open for Jannah and Jasmine Jones, and Harrison, the best players on the team to enter the starting five, Burdick would be a cheerleader, and so will Ariel. No leadership.

I did love the fight from Jasmine Jones. She fights, she fought against MD. Keep doin ya thang ma.
