How Much $$$ Did Da'Rick Lose?

It was sarcasm. I love Alton and really wish he would have been part of the 2015 team but he didn't cost himself anything unless he actually had to pay for the weed he was smoking which I "highly" doubt.

I'm getting lazy, because I didn't recognize that lol. I do think Rodgers had the talent and physical attributes to be a top 5 pick

Rogers and Pig would have easily been top 5 NFL picks without the baggage. Probably cost themselves trillions. All the experts were gushing about how Pig could literally be the goat in the slot/jet sweep position. What a shame.

Agreed. Reliable sources have indicated that if Pig wouldn't have been dismissed the Broncos would have traded into the top 3 to take Pig and make him the Quarterback in a revolutionary new offense based entirely off of the jet sweep.

Schefter and Kiper also hinted that the NFL would have been willing to change the rookie contract max to enable the Broncos to sign him to a $1,000,000,000,000 contract.

The market determines their value.

Agreed. I'm a capitalist as well. But that doesn't restrict me from pointing out the absurdity of some of the free market excesses. It just means I shouldn't actively do anything to prevent them.......And, I really don't even mind the excesses - but you still have to shake your head when garden variety stupidity and immaturity cost someone so much....easy come, easy go.

Some dumb things are way more dumb than other dumb things that are dumb.

Yep. I graduate in two weeks. If at the beginning of the year you told me I had millions waiting for me as long as I didn't screw it up, I'd have left class and sat in a room by myself every day. I'll have a party after I get enough money to keep my family from working anymore. I have no sympathy for these guys.

Nobody gives a damn about an athlete losing millions. If they're getting paid 1 million per year at the end of the day they're still lucky and still overpaid.

I've got no sympathy for the guy. He's an idiot plain and simple. The only person he can blame for costing himself the 13 million is himself. Idiots do what idiots do.

I may not have much sympathy for him but I won't sit around castigating him either. Made some bad decisions. I made a few myself at that age. Mine didn't blow on me in front of the whole world though with millions of douchebags who don't know me judging me. Hopefully he will surround himself with people who will help him make better decisions in the future.

Exactly and if I can make mistakes and still walk away with millions of dollars, I'm living pretty good.

His defining moments will be what he does with the new opportunity going forward.

I've always loved the heart Pig had while on the field at UT. One thing that cannot be denied, he left everything he had out there. But yes, made some stupid mistakes and got smoked for it.

Having said that, I do hope he gets a second (third?) chance at showing off that God given talent he has.

Lighten up on the OP guys. Tunsil paid a stupid tax....a steep, but deserved stupid tax. If you're going to be stupid, especially as a high profile athlete, don't film it.

OP has more than earned his reputation for stupid thread starts.

His handle is the biggest misnomer on VN, if not the entire internet.

I, for one, would have drafted Laremy Tunsil EARLIER in the draft for smoking weed. Specifically if that video was recorded when he was 19. That just shows he's ahead of the game.

I see what you did there, well played...

How can a Duh'rick lose $ he never had? The goofball had a good year in college, but now he would be a top 5 draft pick? Seriously? If he had that kind of talent he would be playing. Instead he is not and has been dropped from several rosters. Same with Pig. Pig is a good player in the slot. He may or may not make a roster. He has never been a Top 5 talent.

It's just weed. Its not like he got a DUI or robbed a gas station. Its 2016 we all know weed is the safest intoxicant. You can kill people on bud light.

I agree, but if your employer says that its not tolerated, you should probably refrain.
