How much do you trust the Vols?

Think everyone pretty much in same boat in upper sec tier...and in CBB. Top 6 teams for first time ever were beaten on same day. NCAA's going to be about who gets hot...and has a few lucky bounces of the ball...with hope refs stay out of it. Have noticed increase of tic-tac calls the past week or so in SEC and Big East.
I wonder if the refs had something to do with the top six teams all losing on the road.

I'm still waiting to see if we can beat a KenPom top 25 team on a neutral court. We haven't been able to do it so far away from TBA. The SEC tournament should answer that question. If we played the tourney today I believe our first game would be against Bama. If we can't do it in tampa, I doubt we can do at the next level. Hope this is the year Barnes breaks the jinx or whatever his post season problem is.

With regular season winding down , we have seen the Vols win some HUGE games but also they have struggled to the lesser . How much do you trust them going into tourney play ?
You know that old saying about March...it’s all about guard play. Our guards are as capable as any and could carry us deep inside to march. With that said, when they go cold, they GO COLD and could get bounced early.
GBO!!

When TN last played on a neutral court the freshmen weren’t even shaving yet. Yesterday 91 of the 200 minutes were logged by true freshmen.

Need to figure out what a half court offense is and how to make it work, particularly if we are going to hold the ball deep into the shot clock late in a game, as we tried to do with Auburn, abandoning the up tempo offense that closed an 11 point deficit and drove Tennessee to an 11 point lead. When Tennessee started to "take time off the clock", they got sloppy, made stupid turnovers, got horrible looks at the bottom of the shot clock, took the 11 point lead down to 3, only to finish up winning by five, that kind of play late in a post season game would get Tennessee beat in their first appearance in the SEC tournament and in the second round of the NCAA tournament, we can do better than that, if it is working, let it work, hard to run out the clock with 30 seconds to hit the rim,

I'm not sure what you mean by "trust" they've won every game they were favored in and have (thus far) gone undefeated at home.

In a tournament setting it really comes down to how the game is officiated if I'm honest. Arkansas was probably the worst officiating job I've seen go against us. But I'll be surprised if teams can play as physical as they have in our losses (Texas, Texas Tech, Arkansas).

I will say I really wish KC wasn't shooting so badly from free throw. It's honestly my only criticism of him, 62.7% from there and he leads the team in attempts. If he was shooting at Santi's level or ZZ's then he'd be averaging 14 or more points a game.

Don't trust them at all. They are beasts inside TBA but outside of it they will be out the first weekend

6-7 away from TBA and all the losses are Quad 1 teams

Neutral vs Villanova
Neutral vs Texas Tech

@ Bama (Missing KC & Fulky)
@ LSU
@ Kentucky
@ Texas
@ Arkansas

5th best scoring offense in the SEC
2nd best scoring defense in the SEC
2nd toughest strength of schedule
4th highest overall winning % in conference

Numbers would look even better had we played and beaten Memphis in Nashville.
