How much to SEAL the deal?

That would be awkward!!

Monte is okay; but his contract would need some verbage that bars his offspring from any and all positions at UT.

sc gave up 178 pts while losing 4 of 5 games, monte resigned under pressure.

How about if UT borrowed money from China to seal this deal, hell they own everything else. It would be like the Obama administration of the SEC !

its obvious that Gruden would take job. But there has to be a cap on college salaries. we cant go that deep in debt for one coach ...

who on here would take all their savings and borrow money on top to invest in one thing? no matter how sure fire the returns are? youd be flat on your ass if it fell through.

patterson or fedora.

in my experiences the only sure fire things are youre born, u live and u die

What part of no to Jon Gruden do you not understand. Leave the Gruden thing and move on if he wanted to coach at UT he would be here!

Hubbs is suggesting that talks are done and that there will be no deal unless Gruden accepts our last offer package. What that package is, who knows. Kiffin got a ton of money for his staff and curious to know what staff offer to Gruden is. Either way, UT has to draw the line somewhere. You make a great offer and then move on.

Well said, kind sir. ><>

I still say we hire Petrino on the cheap and bank some money then if he screws up we fire him with money in the bank for the next coach and if he don't screw up we will be contenders. because like him or not, the man can coach and win. Winning = $$$$
