How stupid do you have to be to not know your daughter's age?

Point is - if we were talking about your brother forgetting ages - you wouldn't be so quick to judge.

if my brother forgot the ages of his kids i'd be a little disturbed. if he forgot the ages of other people's kids i'd surely understand.

Yup, I gotta twist one and step out on my porch after this thread. Glenn Beck being an honest reporter is one thing, but somebody being a bad parent for a slip up in their kids age is just too much.

I look at it like this. It's one of the few mistakes Obama has made that hasn't cost us any money.

This thread is silly, so here's a funny picture:

I've been called "Steve" more times than I can count by my own family members. That's my uncle's name. My name doesn't even start with an S. Obama's daughter is practically 13 anyway, so what difference does it make?

Unless it's a Republican.

I've let a number of things by Rs slide here that seemed goofy and much ado about nothing.

Palin's butchering of Revere's history is worthy of comment as she touts herself to be the symbol of return to traditional American values, which most people associate with the Revolution. She cloaks herself in the flag and historical moments and documents, so she deserves to be derided when she goofs on a fundamental part of it.

Bachmann deserves some criticism when she spouts rhetoric about government spending and decries "socialism," then butchers and gets wrong her own personal benefit from programs that are based on the same theories.

But I don't complain about every miscue. I'm not voting for or against someone because they get the name of a town wrong, or forget one of their kids' birthdays. They got enough on their plate and I am more interested in how they want to bring deficit spending under control and their view of the relationship between the federal and state governments and the individual.

My own dad mixed up my brother and I's names like 90% of the time when we were growing up, and he was retired USAF O-4 and was making a hefty six-figures at Intel at the time.

**** happens.

This joke about Dad mixing up names has been going on in my family for like 25 years. My Dad has called me by his granddaughter's name. He's a Phd Economist.

If you don't have kids your not allowed to comment cause the fact is every parent forgets their kids age and if you have more than one you confuse their names.

It's life. They are not dumb unless you ask their teenage age kids.
