Also known as speaking about UT in a non-positive way.  Gimmie a break, saying UT will lose 3 isnt inflammatory.  Its a HUGE possibility.  Some of you are blinded by Orange and White glasses.  Believe it or not, but there is some things wrong with UT.

That actually wasn't in reference to a three loss prediction. I discussed that part of his post separately and spoke my views on it. I admit to looking at the upcoming season with optimism, but its not unreal optimism to the point where I can not admit the possibility that we may lose games.

This would be where I go all mean and tell you mind your own business, but I understand you Gators have to stick up for each other in enemy territory.

FYI, the games I'd have you losing are to Florida (a ranked team, away), at Alabama (same) and then to either Georgia or LSU.

With all due respect; your prediction that we'll lose to Alabama has to be wishful thinking on your part.

We've beaten them 9 out of the last 10 games and we probably have the best talent heading into a season since the 98 season when we won the NC.

We have the great advantage of an established and consistent coaching staff. We also have a proven run game, which is almost without fail the difference maker in the UT/UF game.

Saying Georgia might beat us is reasonable, saying LSU might is too.

Saying Bama will beat us reveals the pain you must be feeling from losing 2 in a row to us 3 out of the last 4 and seeing The Swamp become the Vols home away from home.

That's almost as unreasonable as thinking a 5 loss team in 04 who has an all new coaching staff, with a brand new offensive scheme, (which will be facing that staff's first true test in Tennessee) will defeat what many experts are calling the best defensive front 7 in the nation in the Vol's defense.

That's fuzzy logic. And I'm being nice calling it that.

If you think UT cant lose to 'Bama, or anyone on their schedule for that matter, you have no logic what-so-ever. Its college football, and more importantly, its the SEC. Anyone can win on any given day. UT certainly has a chace at losing to bama.

Yes there are somethings wrong with Tennessee at least in the eyes of those folks who perineally hope we have miserable seasons.

Some of the things you probably think wrong are:

1. We have the winningest head coach in the SEC :gun:
2. We have beaten Florida's Mastergaiters 2 years in a row :thefinger:
3. We won the SEC Championship Last Year : :peace2:
4. As underdogs we humiliated Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl
5. Most Polls rank Tennessee above all other SEC Teams this year :nener:
6. Tennessee has the largest stadium in the Conference :birgits_giggle:
7. Tennessee has the seccond largest stadium in the Nation
8. Tennessee will likely beat Florida this year even in the Mud Hole :devilsmoke:
9. Tennessee has beaten Alabama 9 out of the last 10 games :whistling:
10. Tennessee has dominated Kentucky, Vanderbilt and South Carolina, Arkansas, Miss. St for years :yahoo:
11. Tennessee doesn't change head coaches every few years just because their teams are losers. We don't have to, our teams aren't losers. :hi:
12. UTVols is consistently the best team in their home state. How does that compare to Mastergaiters, Gamecooks, Kernels, Common Doors, Light Red Tidy Bowls, and the Bueldoggies? :moon2: :moon2:

Also, we have the third largest stadium in the country, not the 2nd.

Not at all. Unlike Florida, we don't lose to 3-4 win teams like Miss State

This gatorville kid cracks me up. He/She comes in here and lets TN fans know how many games they can lose, but when the tables are turned and the same observations are made about Florida his magical force field comes up.

I have already owned this kid on another topic so once again when he/she comes in here spouting the obvious it must be dealt with.

Can TN lose to any team on its schedule? Yes. Is it more likely TN will beat some teams on their schedule? Yes.

Can Florida lose to teams on their schedule? Yes.

So I really don't see the point in any comments made by this gatorville kid. However, it is funny to me that the mighty Gators talk so much smack about how good they are. Never ceases to amaze me with this kid's posts on here.

GO VOLS!

Might not mean as much if the gators hadn't lost to Miss St more than once in the past few years.

Ok I was just curious. Here is what I found.

Florida lost to Miss. St. in 1992,2000,2004.

Tennessee last lost to Miss. St. in 1994.

Florida's streak versus Ky is 18 games, two lesss than Tennessee (20) Florida last loss in 86 and UT in 84.

Florida's streak versus Vandy is 14 games, where the last loss was in 88. Tennessee's streak is 22, last loss in 1982.
