How was everyone paired up?

Tennessee doesn't have a 3rd string line,Ferguson stunk on his own.

Heard Ainge say the coaches only ran defensive blitzes and stunts vs Ferguson to teach him a lesson. Said he has no clue about pass protections and, unlike the vanilla base defenses the other QBs saw, they blitzed Riley and it showed. That's why he took 3 sacks. Talented kid with a ways to go before he's ready to start evidently.

Worley to me can't throw good. Seemed to me the offense moved more fluidly with dobbs. If worley starts and he is the best qb we have great coaches. He was terrible last year. My opinion that's all

That was last year. I was not there, but judging by the highlights, Worley is greatly improved over last year. It seems as if most have an agenda regarding which QB they support. Whether it be race or whatever. I just want the best players on the field.

Worley was not "bad" last year. He was "ok". Not good, not great, just "ok". He was far from "bad".

Peterman was "bad".

I agree that Worley and Dobbs looked the best and that Fergy obviously had a little trouble. I was actually a little bit impressed by Peterman as well. I do think it was easy to see that Dobbs and Fergy have the stronger arms from the QB throwing competition that was held in the second half. Although, that isn't everything.

At this point, I am happy with our QB situation. We've got different guys who have different pros and cons to their game. Overall, I think our QB play will be better this year than last year, no matter who gets the job; and that is something to be happy about.

Dobbs played well, but I noticed in warm ups and on the sideline Worley is the leader of the offense. Worley played against the ones much of the time. The other 3 played a mixture. No matter how bad some believe Worley played last year, he gave us a chance to win in every game except Oregon. If he had started against FL, we could have won that game too. We missed a bowl because Worley was hurt ( I believe we would have beaten Vandy with him ).

Yes Worley was good but Dobbs had a much harder schedule with bama, mizz, aub,

he played safe enough for us to win

WORLEY was 11-13,made check downs when needed, took one shot down field on the 1st series to Marquez North, which he hit for 40 yards, and ran the Offense efficiently...

Dobbs looked good, threw a great pass to Malone on the 80 yd TD pass...

RF looked ok...nothing stood out,he made some good throws on some slants for TD's... but with the system they applied today,it would be tough to get any kind of rhythm as a QB...you come in for a few plays, then sit out for 3 series...

this is very telling because worley nor dobbs needed series to "get in the flow" of anything. they just performed. this is why folks have them 1 and 1a

Dobbs looks like the clear cut starter to me. All other qbs look pretty bad.

I like Dobbs, but I can't see how you can say worley looked pretty bad. 11 for 13, 151 yrds passing 1 TD, no ints and 55 yards rushing. Mostly against the 1st team D. Dobbs went mainly against the 2nd team D. Did you even see the game?

That's right. He's "media" so he's a liar. Problem is, he's been pretty much right in everything he's said.

Perhaps you should stop posting. They're making you look ridiculous.

I'm still trying to figure out how the D didn't tackle Worley on his big run play.

looked horribly wrong saturday and then came back and blamed the coaches for "throwing unfair blitzes at him". GTFOH with that BS ainge. blitzes were thrown at all the qb's. riley just wasn't what u, the rest of his supporters, or ainge was hoping and him saying he was.

Anyone else want to discuss which QB did the best Saturday? I just don't think we have enough threads on this particular subject.

If Ainge said that then he is contradicting every other host on TSR today, who said the opposite.

I wonder if the same person(s) are registering under different monikers and free or otherwise multiple email addresses just to get on VN to bash Worley or stir up shet? Notice Mr Biggles profile?

Yes Worley was good but Dobbs had a much harder schedule with bama, mizz, aub,

My point is - Worley has earned the respect of his teammates. I do not care who the qb is as long as we win. I am just tired of so many bashing Worley when he has represented UT well and helped lead us to the best victory we have had in several years (SC).

Worley was definitely blitzed on the play he had his big run. Coleman blitzed from the short side of the field and ended up running down Worley from the backside. The DE and DT looped, which left the edge open for Worley to keep the ball and skidattle.
