Pearl's intermediaries wanted to use the Memphis opening to get Pearl more money. It worked.

I never said that Bruce talked to Memphis, what I have said is that Memphis had genuine interest in Bruce. That is a fact that some people on here hate because it shows that you do not have to go to the Final Four to be appreciated by some people.

He can't possibly keep all the guards he has signed happy. He has some elite players who will get most all the playing time.

I'm not sure if Memphis is the ideal recruiting ground for Cal right now. If Thomas comes down to UK and UT, it might be the first time in the history of the world that a Memphis kid was steered to Knoxville. As it is, Thomas will almost for sure be a Tiger.

If Adonis, Jarnell or JW3 go play for Cal, I think the city of Memphis will riot.

why do memphis people hate us so bad? i meannn am i missing somthing. i know one thing we need to start working on our PR problem in that city quick. we need to lockdown that city because it seems to be turning into a basketball mecca for bball players
