How will the refs screw us this week?

  • Multiple holds each half against the Vols, none against uga.

  • Spotting the ball short on important 3rd and 4th downs.

I think we may get some calls. UGA is beginning to embarrass the league (3 regular seasons in a row undefeated). Time for the Dawgs to know who runs the show and why not with a heated rival on their home turf. The UGA fans will blame the home refs. The SEC knows it’s only getting one team in and Tennessee won’t ruin the party.

The SEC for a millions reason, as well as some legitimacy, would love a Big Orange victory. When Texas and Okla. come in Everything changes. Nice story to have some parity in the league, before two new behemoths come in. Endless UGA wins into the future… means something is really afoul with the competition.

They got the matchup they wanted.
Time to end the streak!

Unfortunately we are the most penalized team in the SEC because we are undisciplined and just commit too many penalties. Not to say we haven’t witnessed a host of no calls against the teams we have played and experienced refs stopping our O for no reason, allowing replay after we snapped the ball, and making some very questionable calls about fair catches, defense simulating snap count, etc.

It is possible in the scenario above that neither get in.

The funny thing is the SEC may have to pull funny stuff to have UGA win out including against St. Nick just to get one team in.

The committee is already making it clear Texas is getting in with 1 loss before 1 loss Bama.

The balls won't be properly prepared and their striped shirts will slant towards UGA so the "they" will know the fix is in before they place their bets.

Also, a sketchy coin toss. ie "Heads, UGA wins, Tails Vols lose".

Or everyone (fans, team, coaches) moon the zebras as they walk out on the field, sort of like Braveheart but with alcohol and Petro's...we could call it Bravefart.

A coach or assistant needs to step up and school the team on "tire iron discipline", no doubt.
