Is it Barker that redshirted? My friends are high on him taking the job this year.

Barker redshirted.

Towles will finish as the starter barring injury.

And yes, Max Smith announced his transfer to SDSU yesterday.

So....., I take it they're thinking if fielding a football team next fall? Hmm. New programs don't tend to do too well at first.

In year 3 of the Stoops Era, they must show improvement and win 6 games to go bowling. Losing to Louisville again and not making a bowl game will put Stoops on the hottest seat in the SEC for 2016.

8 home games in the fall- in the newly renovated Commonwealth. If there isn't a buzz in the fanbase, there's something wrong. Stoops' third year with three excellent classes brought in. I'll predict a bowl game this year. Almost made it last year but came up just short.

What does a newly renovated stadium have to do with the play on the field? That's comical. It might make the fans more happy that they get to piss in new urinals, but using a renovated stadium for optimism is funny.

The fact is, as long as Petrino is at Louisville, Ky will be on the wrong side of that W-L column the majority of the time. They've got 3 gimmes built in the OOC schedule. If they can't upset Louisville, then they will have to find 3 SEC wins somehow. Vandy should be a win. I don't know if I see another 2, but you never know with injuries. They can get to 6-6 if some things fall into place.

Unfortunately for Kentucky, they have always been screwed by a certain Orange team... Even when The Bear coached there he could never beat Neyland. I think UK rises to the top dogs of the East but never goes all the way

No, I think it is clearly going over your head.

Hey folks, Ky is going to renovate its stadium!!! SEC championship right around the corner!!! Print up the t-shirts!!!!

Good Lord.

And please tell us the minimum 6 wins. I need a good laugh.

In comedy, they call that a callback.

The only thing comical is you using stadium renovations which will fire up a fan base which will then fire up the team which will then lead to more victories. Tell us some more good jokes.

It could be argued that they were better than Ky. UT couldn't hang half a hundred on them.

So you're basing ur potential success on beating usc, who UK beat (by 7 as opposed to 3); vandy who UK beat (by 10 as opposed to 7) and an Iowa team who you put up 45 on instead of the 50 you hung on us. I'm flattered that UK football is the stick you measure yourselves against.

No, I'm not basing anything on comparative scores of other teams. I'm basing it on the eye test and knowing the rosters of UT and Ky. You asked was Iowa that good. I responded that UT couldn't hang half a hundred on them, but yes, they beat the sh*t out of them about as bad as they did Ky.

And please don't flatter yourself. Anyone that uses Ky as a measuring stick deserves all the criticism they get.

Again, show me where Ky gets 6 wins next year. I'll wait. If you think Ky is going to beat Louisville more often than lose with Petrino back then I'll just say I'll agree to disagree. That means Ky has to find 3 SEC wins. Tell me who they are.

Im saying we both had a 50/50 shot of ending with 2 wins in the sec. Instead u beat that powerhouse UK to pick up ur 3rd conf win.

I didn't flatter myself. You compared Iowa to UK, not me.

A 50/50 shot that ended in a 50-16 loss. I think your odds were a little off.

I didn't compare Iowa to Ky. I compared the ass kickings that UT leveled on both and not being able to get half a hundred against Iowa.

Again, give me the 3 SEC wins you see Ky getting next year to get a bowl game. I think it's doable given some breaks.
