How would Richt leaving affect us?

Probably a bad thing. Georgia will bring in some over hyped buffoon like Muschamp and try to shut off our recruiting there.

Richt did a great job of putting a recruiting fence around UGA when he first became HC. They were initially a well coached club and they were a dominating team. Things changed. They look terrible, they underachieve...frankly they look like a Fulmer team in the second half of last decade.

He won't get fired this year. It will take a couple more tough years. If they do fire him, it depends who they bring in. If it's a coach with a big name, it will HURT us. If it's someone unproven, it will help us for a few years.

hes done, I was expecting to hesr his retirement this morn. I really like richt, but he' ll be in the same boat as fulmer by years end

It is very similar to the end of the Fulmer regime. He's toast, new AD, more than likely new coach at year's end.

I think Georgia may be one team that has looked worse than us at times. Miss State should never lay a whipping on a Georgia team like that.

Good thing short term, bad thing long term.

I'm sure their AD's no. 1 concern will be getting a coach who can keep the state on lockdown like Richt used to.
