How would you rank 2014 schedule in terms of fun to attend?

Hey guys,

as some of you know, I am planning to come over to the US and see a Tennessee game within the next two years depending on how the schedule works.

I was perusing next year's fixtures, and was wondering if I could get some advice on which games would be the best to attend if I could only see one.

If anyone would be prepared to rank our schedule 1-12, 1 being the best game with some reasons why, I would be very grateful, as there is no point in researching what travelling to Norman OK would be like if their stadium, and the area sucks.

Thanks guys.

better get to bed UK time... come for Bama - it is the oldest UT rivalry and the stadium will initially rock - if we stay close - it will roll - literally roll.

Honestly if i were you I'd hit the UF game. It's looking like the perfect storm. we should have more talent, they'll be in their 1st year under a different scheme(which we know causes problems), it's at home, and its hopefully the ending of that dang losing streak to them. Neyland would go insane. Didn't make a list just cause that's the most plausible game for the best time.

Nah, I am on christmas break!

I am so tempted by the Bama game, I really am, but I don't want to see us get burned again. I tend to think seeing the game at Neyland in 2016 would be a better option... Thoughts?

What was Neyland like last time we played them at home, does it become a library when we are down 30?

Yeah, Florida does seem like my number 1 game. But I am very tempted to see us play Ole Miss on the road, partly because I want to see the campus, after studying Meredith at school.

Would Oxford be a good place to go as a fall back option?

Utah state is actually pretty good. Also, if it works out with your schedule, you should really see a home game. The Vols in Neyland is something to behold.

Never been there but it would be cool to see both teams play with so much young talent on both sides. Could make for a wild game and much better than at miss st. with those friggin cowbells. But florida is prolly the best chance for a W and a crazy atmosphere, they play Bama right before us. Doesn't hurt our chances.

Very true. Would the Utah game be a sellout? It's our home opener right? They haven't sold out in the years I have been watching.

Why Utah State so high? Wont that be a blowout? At least I would see us win I suppose...

I think Utah State has the no. 12 defense or something, I know the just played in their conference champ too. Lost to Fresno I think

Hmm. I didn't expect I would even be considering that one... Maybe I will now. I had it in my mind that they were a total cupcake.

My thoughts in general are that I don't want to see a cupcake game, I want to see a thriller as my first game live - instead of a rout with no atmosphere.

Def could be a heck of a game.

I'd rather go watch a good WAC team in August/September than a really bad Kentucky team in November.

Really? At least I have a rooting interest in beating Kentucky as a rival. I couldn't even name all the teams in the WAC....

Another vote for the Florida game. A hated SEC rival that we haven't beaten in what will be 10 yrs by that point and actually may have a shot at beating will make for a great atmosphere and hopefully a great game.

Seems like a no-brainer for next year. UT vs UF.

Normally I would say Bama, but given the current state of our programs, thats a long way to travel to see what will most likely be a loss.

go see the Florida game, it will be at home, and it should be a close game but I think we'll win since they have been down on their luck. If I could only go to one that's the one I'd go to.

If you've never been to Neyland then that should automatically eliminate all the road games as you need to see one there first.

With that said I think Florida is a good one.
