I was just sayin your friends up there think you "wear a conservative suit", meaning they think you are conservative with conservative opinions. That's all I meant. My finger hurts so maybe I can't explain myself :birgits_giggle:

Yeah...but apparently I wear "a liberal suit" down there...what am I going to do about that? :p

I'll need to see McCain's VP selection before I make any determination. Considering McCain's health questions there's good reason to think that person will be taking the oath at some point.

Yes,
We as a voting public have never had to choose between two candidates that have essentially the same terrible positions on the important issues (except Iraq and taxes).

McCain is almost as unqualified as Obama but here we go again: vote for the one that is the least dangerous (McCain).:(

Cheney's health was in question too, and he's still here 8 years later. I do get your point, but I think too much is being made of McCain's age. The cancer worries me, but as long as we don't have socialized medicine, he's in good hands.

As a Senator he's not covered under the same medical plan as the people he represents.

As for Cheney, I'm pretty sure he could have, and actually might have, dropped off a few years ago and no one would notice.
