Howdy Vols

Volstorm I disagree with you about Fran. These coaches have to look out for themselves, sometimes just winning isn't enough (see Ron Zook). Who is to say that he didn't mean every word that he told his players at the time that he told them? I also don't blame him for not returning to Alabama to speak to his players, hell, the Bammer yahoos would have probably strung him up for having the audacity to leave their wonderful program. Nope, can't fault anybody for leaving that cess pool of a program. JMHO

Welcome to you guys. I was born in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and am a Longhorns fan... I haven't been following too closely them this season, as I have been behind Tennessee football.

In the Cotton Bowl, may the best team win.

How the heck do you go from DFW to Oregon? I live in Rockwall (a little east of Dallas).

The limit on texags.com is because Horn and Texas Techies get on the board and cause it to crash with multiple post over and over and over again. Just keep posting and I think you will be fine in a few days.

Please shut the heck up about PF integrity crap. If you have something insightful to talk about go ahead, but please grow up and be mature. I have posted here for a while just b/c there is little to no BS to thumb through to find good info. You have no idea about UT football and it shows.

I guess I've already hit my post limit. It won't let me reply to anymore threads. :dunno:

Seems like a nice board,though.

Hey Orange it really is a good board with the obvious exceptions though that every fan will get if someone starts talking crap about A&M. You will see pretty good discussion and get very good discussion over there if you like. Yeah after a couple of days they will lighten up. I think once you get to like 20 posts you are free to post as much per day.

Just want to put my 2 cents in on Fran... it wasn't the fact that he left that bothered me. I would have never gone to Wahlabama in the first place( aka he did the right thing by leaving)... but he left without even TELLING the players he was leaving... they found out fromt he media the next day. That's a pretty poor thing to do.

So what the hell does that mean exactly??

It's actually a bastardized Simpsons reference.

Why is he not being grailed over the coals?

Raked over the coals, man. Raked. "Grail" is a noun, not an adjective. You're an Aggie, you're smarter than that.
:eek:lol:

Dude, you're gonna fit in just fine around here.

Aggie Superman this was a good thread. Start another one if you want to talk smack.

Hey i didn't start with the coach integrity invective. I'm just saying if my coach was ratting out other schools to keep his ass off the NCAA hot seat, I wouldn't be throwing stones around my glass house is all.
There were a bunch of other coaches besides Fulmer, almost half in the SEC.

And the phrase 'ratting out' sounds too junior high!

If I see a crime, I'm a witness and I'm talking to the police... its our civic duty.

Coach Fran saw the writing on the wall and split ...did he handle it the right way probably not... was it the right decision probably so.... do we care what you think about Fulmer absolutely not, that's between him and the nutcase lawyers in Bama..... personally I have nothing against Fran or him leaving Bama .... so lets just drop that crap and talk football..... GO VOLS!!!!

I was born in Irving and lived in Farmers Branch until around five. My dad was hired by Intel as a sales manager, and we moved up to Oregon about 11 years ago because there was a huge tech boom around here. Now I am living about 20 miles west of Portland.
