Tend to disagree with your last statement there.

More than one source has juxtaposed the best coaches/recruiters pitch to recruits and the methods Butch has used. Seems Butch is big on making wide-ranging promises that he ultimately can’t or just doesn’t keep, especially to some of his higher rated prospects/signees.

The best coaches on the other hand promise only the opportunity to compete and playing time if they win the job/earn the spot.

For those that follow recruiting more closely than I, has there been any chatter from the recruits themselves that Butch hasn't been contacting them for the last couple of weeks? His twitter feed has gone silent, but it would be another piece of evidence that he's already gone if the recruits are saying they haven't heard from him in a while either. Anyone heard something like this?

Only very recent article I've seen is in the home page about Anthony Grant. Simply says he loves Butch, buyt committed to UT, so that would not change even if Butch is fired. Also said he and the other commits are still real tight and communicate regularly. I think most of this class will hold together.

I anticipate this early signing period will kill us. Really anyone with a coaching change. People will be pressured to sign or "not promised anything in the spring."
