Hubbs being left off the roster seems like sports politics to me. We need Mayor McCheese to step in here.

They picked a guy that plays the same position from TEXAS to play on the EAST roster ahead of Hubbs.(Keith Frazier) According to Rivals Hubbs is the 3rd best shooting guard. And the kid they picked was the 5th.

Man not usually a conspiracy theorist(probably cant spell it) but this stinks to high heaven.

Has a lot to do with ESPN and NIKE. It is good to see though, a lot of the recruiting guys are naming Hubbs as the biggest snub.

Like a previous poster mentioned this might be a good chip for him to have on his should coming in too

I agree we are better without him when stokes is out there...however stokes wont play 40 minutes. Martin said the reason hall didn't play was matchups against Vandy, so we will see. I don't expect him to get big minutes but somewhere in the 10-15 range. Best thing would be if that benching lit a fire under him, but I won't be holding my breath on that.

He was left off the Jordan Brand Classic also, either way none of us should put too much hopes on a freshman that has yet to play in the SEC. The acclamation from High School to college can be enormous.

CCM better be able to recruit, with KY getting five all americans. Their only weekness is youth.

I know what you mean here, but their is a little more credibilty with basketball rankings. Its a lot more rare in basketball to see a 5 star not be a producer SEC or not.

Still think its Booty he should have made one of those squads

Luckily you don't have to win the SEC to make the NCAA tournament. Even if we lose to KY one time next year does that really derail our season?

I have followed UT basketball since the days of Don Devoe. UT has never out recruited UK in basketball. Doesn't mean UT could never win games against them. UT basketball brand is not a mecca for 5 star recruits to come in droves like UK. UT basketball is a process of getting a few really good players and the rest role players. I do agree CCM is going to have to be selective in his recruiting. For now I think he knows this having gone through SEC play last year and almost completing his second season.
