So are you saying that the story was not true or that Freeze will not abide by his contract? There may be an account with his name but it appears he will not have control over it.
If he is such a great guy why did Auburn feel the need to put this in his contract? Just because he appeared wonderful in a press conference doesn’t make him a great guy. He also tried to appear to be a great guy at Ole Miss and we saw how that worked out when the truth came out.

Until Watson loses something in court, there are only rumors.

If a person is accused of sexually assaulting two dozen women, and no law enforcement agency, no one in the judicial system takes any of the allegations seriously enough to do anything about it, there is something up. He is not that rich, nor that important. I don’t know what he admitted to, but he would be locked up if he did half of those things.

It's usually cheaper to settle than to battle in court, even if you would win the case. It also gets that issue out of the spotlight and him back playing sooner. If he drug out the court cases no NFL team would touch him until they were all done.

Also, to your first, why not? Not saying I believe it in this case, but there are PLENTY of gold diggers hanging around NFL players. I would think that at least a few of them are making it up or exaggerating, just based on law of averages. Easy to just pile on and rely on some of the cases having enough legs to carry yours without too much scrutiny.

Before you say I blaming the victims or dismissing sexual abuse/assault, that same argument applies to at least some of the cases being true. But it doesnt mean all 24 are true. And 1 would be too many.

Reading the following article details how it all came about. Apparently Freeze was trying to scapegoat Nutt for most of the 15 level 1 NCAA violations he was facing. Nutt's lawyer then went on an open records request bonanza and discovered the escort calls.

I believe if he legitimately sexually assaulted even one woman that he should be in prison. But as hard as the media and the attorneys for those women have tried, no one has ever gotten one indictment. So, yes, something is up.
I could care less what Freeze did, and I don’t know why people have their panties in such a bunch over it. But you know what they say about those who protest too much.

Just read on MSNBC that Freeze has a clause in his contract that bans him from having a twitter / social media account. That could put a crimp in his recruiting efforts. Guess they think his Hooker hotline will be under control this way.

In retrospect, Freeze was quite sanctimonious while at Ole Miss. Constantly tweeting about his faith and devotion to family ... while he had an escort service on speed dial.

Nobody thinks he’s not a good coach and I don’t care about his personal demons. But he caught and still catches the hell he does because of how pious he purports to be. As has been said, it’s the hypocritical nature of his piousness that doesn’t sit well with folks. I don't find his actions since he was pushed out of Oxford to be very contrite.
