Or judt don't care. We could have had Freeze as OC but they took the BS PC high moral ground which we all know in division 1 especially SEC is bogus.

This program Desperately needs wins....who the frick cares if our OC, which might be best in SEC, hired hookers before? WTF is wrong with the guys upstairs???

Another losing season or 2 is a 1000 times more damaging. Helton should habe never even been here in the first place thats 1 strike against Pruitt but the real problem is upstairs.

Just curious. What’s the confirmed source that we turned down Freeze vs he turned us down.

Freeze was quoted as saying ask UT admin not him and that he realizes his past would scate teams away at first. We definitely turned him down which us just DUMB.

Why can programs like Georgia transition seamlessly from a good coach and even Florida get great seasons at least out of their failed hires? We should have just kept Fulmer and let him get a better OC because hamilton back then was too incompetent to get gary patterson. Our AD has failed us this past decade.

UT is the program thats settled for the ugly fat girl every year instead of going balls to the wall to getting the hottest chick it can find.

So lets take a look at this. Liberty, a Christian university, didnt take into account Freezes past transgressions, but TN did? Does that seem logical to you? I believe Freeze just wanted a head coaching job.

The true answer to your question is that those two programs are in recruiting hotbed states. Georgia was a good program under Richt so Kirby had a great launch point ans the Atlanta area is recruit rich. Florida same way. Tennessee is a great job but it does come with some obstacles that Ga/Fla dont have. That is just truth. While our state is getting better, you can’t build this roster on mainly TN talent.

Nobody takes a job for 50% of what they could've made by choice.

He couldn’t take credit for this thread 2 hours after he titled it. VN sniffed his BS out pretty quick and decided to have a fun “Gruden-like” thread. Then the mods merged it and, in my opinion, officially gave the thread to VN.
It’s all good though, it’s nice just having something to do in our early off season until we go nuts about NSD and ESD!

At this point I figure it's a NFL guy whose team may still be in the playoff hunt. CJP probably locked it up early and has just been focusing on recruiting since. Why it hasn't been announced, idk best guess is AD still finalizing the details and the guy asked that nothing is made public until everything is final.

But I am speculating out of my ass...I don't know dick.
