Hugh Freeze.....

Several people endorsing Mullen, and Freeze just beat him with inferior talent. Sure turned Ole Miss around fast. Doubt he would pull a Kiffin or Todd Graham on them though.

Maybe he can bring Bo Wallace and we can resurrect that epic recruiting thread.

Freeze is a friend of my grandfather, as he was his youth minister fr quite some time. I don't believe Freeze would ever coach Tennessee. Just a hunch. Any amount of money we'd offer him would likely be matched and he would be far more willing to take that (or any) job over Tennessee. That said, I would love to have him

Btw, my grandfather is a huge Ole Miss fan and had been saying for years that freeze would be Ole Miss' head coach

Why hire Freeze when Malzahn is available? That is if we consider going that route.

I'd take malzahn first as well. Malzahn's offense is a unique form of the spread, more running. Similar to Oregon. He's pretty good at scheming up a game plan. Freeze is more of the air raid mixed with the tony Franklin style/ system. Both have proven to work. Can't wait to see the day when the air raid is matched with a stout defense

I am in my 7th year of my dynasty on NCAA 13 and have yet to lose. 6 national championships in a row. Heisman difficulty. Maybe I should be considered for the coaching vacancy?

We pass. Your buyout will be astonomical with that record.

No to Freeze. Cutcliffe was respectable at Ole Miss, too, and I don't want him either.

Freeze will not come to UT. Most any offer would be matched, and even if not, it likely would not matter. It is his dream job & he will be loyal to the Rebels for awhile.

Really though, who has done more to turn a program around that fast with what he had to come in to?
