Hulu and Amazon Originals

Just finished season 1 of catch 22. Kind of has a Biloxi Blues feel to it. A very intriguing watch.

I love Sneaky Pete and the Handmaid's Tale. I thought the Amazon Jack Ryan series was decent. Weird to see Jim from the office as a jacked BA.

I was very surprised how well he translated. Readers of Clancy novels shouldn’t be because Jack Ryan was never written as a superhero...just a nerd who stood up.

Yeah. That said, he is jacked.

I thought John Krasinski did a really good job. Jack Ryan is one of my favorite characters from any novel and his Boy Scout kind of values and ideals humanize him. I was surprised how well he translated. It’s kind of crazy seeing Jim from the Office dropping f bombs and doing sex scenes with some nudity.

I’m thinking the second season is going to be even better than the first .

Good Omens premieres tonight. Great book, co-written by Neil Gaiman. An angel and a demon who hang out together on Earth have to prevent the end of the world and literally the 4 Horsemen of the Apokolips with the help of some kids (I think ?)

I binged watched all 6 episodes of Good Omens, this weekend. Had a really good ensemple of actors, Martin Sheen, David Tennent, Jon Hamm, Michael McKean (he will always be Lenny (or was he Squiggly?), to me), Natasha Richardson, Brian Cox and Francess McDormand was the voice of "God". I enjoyed it, but I am a huge Gaiman fan

Started reading the book and watched the first episode. By coincidence the first episode ended right where I was in the book. Gonna get a little ahead on reading then watch next episode later.

Just started Letterkenny. Freaky but pretty damn funny.

I was feeling under the weather a couple weekends ago and binged the whole series. It's weird but some of the characters and banter are hilarious. Katie is smoking and at times Stewart is almost distractingly a dead ringer for a young Tom Cruise.

Anyone seen Fortitude on Amazon? I heard it was pretty good.
i did. it's pretty good. slow. but i liked it. can see why someone might not though. i liked the isolation aspect. characters had to be pretty strong.
