The pulmonary doctor who took the biopsy of the mass in my right lung called me and said it’s squamous cell lung cancer that has come back and metastasized to the left lung too. Have an appointment with the oncologist next Wednesday to discuss treatment options. If anybody has any prayers of hope they will be gratefully appreciated.

HMan, you will be be in my prayers. Cancer has been a terror in my family over the past few years. My father in law is on his third fight and just found cancer in his soft tissue around his spine. My mother had lung cancer and the blonde one had a double mastectomy and reconstruction in May.

Praying for you today hman. How long will you be feeling the affects? I know when I helped my Papaw through this, we were just hoping he’d be mostly back to normal on Monday after having a Friday treatment

This stuff lasts about a week or week and a half. All the anti nausea medicine, steroids and Benadryl they pump in with it makes me feel ok until around Sunday when it wears off and the chemo sickness kicks in. But the saving grace is this is the last treatment for the chemo. Going back to immunotherapy to see if that still works but that doesn’t make you feel sick. Thanks for asking my friend.
