I hope it calms down. My uncles who had sky high blood pressure was on medication to control it when his doctor retired. His new young doctor said he was taking too much medicine and changed his blood pressure medicine and stoped some other medicine. Two days later he went into renal failure, was put on life support and died four days later. I hope that doesn’t happen to him. Changing older peoples maintenance drugs should be malpractice in my opinion.Prayer request for my dad. They changed his diabetes medicine and it’s really jacked with his bp, pulse rate and sugar readings.
My mom had a similar issue. She'd been on BP med for years and then went to a cardiologist (per my insistence) for irregular beat. Cardio guy changed her medication, and she wound up in the ER. Took her awhile for her body to settle down. It was scary. I still feel responsible. She's back on the initially prescribed medication and is fine. I doubt she'll ever go to a cardiologist again. She'll be 88 next month. If it works, don't change it.I hope it calms down. My uncles who had sky high blood pressure was on medication to control it when his doctor retired.
