My father's scans resulted in no lymphoma, which we are so grateful for. He got covid 4 weeks ago, ended up in ER day after Christmas for 24 hours and was released. Unfortunately it turned into pneumonia. Back in ER today after cancer doc visit to go over scans but having a hard time breathing and blood pressure high (doc thinks both may be related to the pneumonia). Any prayers are greatly appreciated

Echocardiogram was okay and cardiologist will follow up after discharge. He must wear a heart monitor for the next week but they believe everything has been caused by the pneumonia. Should be discharged tomorrow as long as progress continues. Will continue antibiotics and steroids at home. Thank you for all the prayers, I can't express how much they're appreciated

Thanks to all for the prayers. Dad's at home but not doing well. Lymphoma free but is still having issues. Using a walker because he's still extremely weak, down to 160 lbs from 190 a month ago. Spoke to grandkids (our set) today on the phone but broke down crying because he feels like he's not going to make it much longer. Docs think covid may have done damage to his heart but won't know for about a month or so, if then. He's supposed to get a heart monitor this week and take it easy for a while. Tough conversation between he and I this afternoon as well just talking about the past 5 years and all he has been through. Doing my best to try and keep his spirits up. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers!

He broke down and cried 3 different times in a 40 minute conversation (this is a 67 year old man that hasnt cried but a few times in his entire life). He still feels terrible and like he's going to die any day now. These last few months have been extremely hard on him and these talks are definitely the toughest things I've been through in my lifetime. Please continue to pray for him and know they are greatly appreciated.
