Mom had her biopsy Wednesday. Doctor said results should be back no later than next Wednesday. Said it could be earlier, but wasn't sure with holiday hours.

Another reason I hate the holidays. Everything slows down. Forget the mail, routine medical procedures, etc. waiting a week for something like that is cruel to you and your mom.

I'm just glad they could fit her in before the new year. When she made her appointment, it was either the 23rd, or wait until after the new year. One wait is much easier than the other would have been.

Results came back positive for cancer. We go to a surgeon on Monday to discuss options, plus she has to have a spot in her other breast biopsied, but it's harder to reach. Just hoping and praying for a positive ending when all is said and done.
