Hunter is so good he plays at 80% last year and still puts up great numbers. With that said, he is an injury waiting to happen. He plays very scared and he's going to get lit up in the NFL if he doesn't learn to protect himself. I really want Hunter to play 10 plus years and have a great career, but I worry about his knee and frame. Still a VFL!

You mean a pro athlete who plays the most violent sport in the world at the highest level is at risk of getting hurt? I'll be damned

When you are trying to be smart to make a cute point it makes you sound silly. Let me break it down for you. Riding a motorcycle is dangerous. Riding a motorcycle without a helmet is more dangerous. Playing football is dangerous, playing football timid is more dangerous. I think anybody that has played on any level understands that. The point of this article was to make that point.

Being smart to make a cute point is just what I do. Maybe I need to have AJ add a "troll" banner to my new avi so VN newbies like you will quit getting so butt-hurt when I post. Thanks for your response though. I found it informative and enlightening
edit: just noticed you've been around since 09. But it still applies to part-timers

Check again buddy, I have been here since 2009. I am just trying to help you understand there is a difference in how you play the game. "Butt hurt" I am sure you talk that way in your normal conversations in society as well.

Not angry, I am wondering if you see the articles point. I got to say I know people don't like when I say this, but I could not stand the effort Hunter put out last year. I could be dead wrong, but I am not sure he is a slam dunk in the pros.

Is "butt-hurt" some sort of newbie initiation to VN? If so, I am hanging up my cleats.

He will get his bell rung a few times that's for sure. But I hope he sticks to it and has a great NFL future with the Titans.

It doesnt shock me. JH was a great receiver for us last year, but looked scared and timid at times after coming back from the torn acl.

I actually look for CP to get hurt before JH. The way CP stops and cuts on a dime, I just know somebody is going come crashing into him the other way and those knees are going to give. I hope to God it doesn't happen but I won't be a bit surprised if it does.

I agree. He is very talented. I remember him taking many dives in the middle of the field after a catch. It is almost as if the ball hit his hands and his legs went limp under him. I remember several times when he was about to get contact and some when if he would have made a move he had a lot of real estate to play with. It is hard to understand because we are not in his position. We may not like the thought of it but we should all understand it. He has a family to support.

I also want to say that none of us are sure that is what was happening because none of us are in his head.
