Hunting Lease

You might want to look at counties that are near the Kentucky border for that kind of land. I've leased land before in Clay county and Macon County. Can't say that I really liked the deer hunting there that much because poaching was rampant. I have NOT been able to find good leases in Unit L between Knoxville in Nashville. Namely Smith or Wilson County.

There is land available in some of the counties that are south and west of Nashville, just depends on how far you want to drive.

Thanks for your input. I've leased in Jackson County. Poaching was an issue. We also,had no support from the land owner to keep others off the property. We'd run someone off and we'd get the call from the land owner "You can't run him off, he's been a family friend for 20 years."

I would love to find something on the plateau but have been unsuccessful so far. I found a few plots of land east of Knoxville but my brother doesn't want to drive that far.
