Hurd 'hungry' as UT debut nears

And then self destruct, sit out another year for disciplinary issues, sue to enter the NFL, succeed...then fail, fail whilst awaiting the NFL, fail in the NFL, fail at being a criminal, fail to find true love in prison, then finally rebuild a once promising life, with the hallmark achievement of being able to chew food without assistance?....I'd rather he emulate Eddie George. :wink2:

Fail to find true love in prison? Guess he should've fumbled the soap more, huh.

I'm hoping for an impact similar to another tOSU back...Maurice Clarett. Obviously, the shenanigans and criminal stuff is not what I'm talking about. I mean having a running back put a team on his back and carry you to the biggest bowl game of the year as a freshman.
Did you really just put the "t" on there? That deserves a cmon man! lol

Going back to Phil's tenure, I have never seen a RB at UT like Hurd before. He finishes every run and punishes the defender. Without knowing he had the ball, you would think he was the tackler instead of the tacklee the way he lowers his shoulders and brings the hit. Personally, he is the very last player I would want to tackle!!

I'm very eager to seem him run. I think we have a great one.

I'm an old guy who has seen many, many UT games and great players; however, only Jamal in high school looked anything like Hurd...In the high school state championship game two years ago, I sat in disbelief as I watched him run for those almost 400 yards - literally running over players and through players from the 2nd best team in the state.

I'm gonna have to look that game up. I would like to see the highlights.

He good...

...and I suspect his HS OL teammates thought to themselves, "if we can just give him a crack or a seam to run through...he gone!"

Likewise, I think our OL will be juiced up, knowing the same thing

Good..as long as other teams dont treat Hurd how we treated old Eddie..

We **** him down and then dominated them . I'm just 30 but I remember that game we had some NFL players on that team on d who all were they ? Do u remember ?

I hope he runs like Rodney Hampton (UGA and NY Giants) did. He always ran hard with momentum and when he fell, he fell forward for another 2-3 yards.
