That being said, says a lot about him since he was leaning to not playing, but still wanted a part of his NIL deal to be so his teammates families could have a place to stay for this game.

This is my positioning. What stops a kid who’s started for 3 years and put enough on tape to not just opt out 1/2 through a season once their team is out of playoff contention? Bowl games being non-title games and only a select few teams having a shot at winning a title has been the case for eternity; why has this become a phenomenon the last 5-7 years.
