Now that Hunter is facing felony charges, speculation will turn to Joe and possible pardons.

If you were in this situation what would you do?

Tough call but if my policy message was to strengthen the system that my son violated I'd have to pass on the pardon. Even the commute would undermine the justice system.

I'm going with Neither but it's between that and commute.

If I was as old and as close to the grave as Sloppy Joe is…. I would and give everyone the bird or a crotch grab after I did

If I were the President, I would pardon, but that’s because pretty much all politicians are morally bankrupt and that would just be par for the course.

If you answer "pardon" you probably shouldn't be a parent.
If you don’t , you probably shouldn’t be running a criminal enterprise with 20 shell companies distributing funds to family members . If I was and potus hell yes I’d pardon that crackhead to keep him from spilling everything .

Not sure what point you're trying to make or why you're trying to make it.

I thought I laid it out . There’s more than if you chose pardon , you shouldn’t be a parent reason . That family has a closet full of skeletons and the weakest link right now ( believe it or not ) isn’t Joe applesauce , it’s the crackhead son that can blow them all up . He just about has to pardon him

He's his SON. (and the smartest man he knows) Of course he'll pardon him. It's idiotic to think otherwise.

Ah, that's right. People who aren't parents *must* be inherently selfish.

That's such a dumb high horse to fall down from, even for you.
Actually, it could be argued having kids is selfish as most people want them for selfish reasons. I just liked the way it felt without a condom, 3 times apparently.

I’d put him in a drug rehabilitation program in exchange for a lesser sentence.. not going to lie.. if it were my child.. which, Thank God, it isn’t 😂 Hunter is older than I am though, so it’s a really weird argument.. but I guess they are still your kids even when they are old and stupid and druggies

At the time I just wanted somebody I could tell to change the channel on the tv and answer the phone to see who it was .
