Would love to think our Vols will or can be cutting down the nets in several weeks but, just doesn't seem remotely possible. Loss to KY at home and bounced & trounced in first round of SEC tourney by Miss State and well, there's gonna be a lot of pigs flying over Knoxville if we go all the way. Not gonna change my vote.

What would be a successful year to you? Final four? Elite 8? You can have a great year and still not win the championship. I'd personally be happy with a final four appearance. I don't think national championship or bust is fair.

Fair Q. I would just love it, LOVE it, if we can get to the Final 8. That is two wins. Kids deserve to be there - can the coaches get'em there?

IMO, they deserve what they earn. Coaches can put them in position to make plays, but the players have to show up and get it done. No magic rah, rah speech or trickery involved. Simple effort and desire. They bring it and they advance. They don't and it's another UT March.

Interesting results on this poll.

Less than 20% of those that responded said that they would be upset to see coach Barnes leave. 80% NOT upset.

Anyone else find this alarming or disturbing?
