I’m man enough to say it…

I’ve had BVS all year. I had strong doubts about this game. Until Thursday…

On Thursday my 8 year had a bad day at school and his teacher told my wife after she talked to him he said “Roll Tide!” The teacher asked him if he was an Alabama fan and he said “No, that’s just what people say after they do something dumb.”

I don’t know that I’ve ever been more proud as a parent

Lost my dad 5 years ago. Used to listen to John Ward with him when I was little. My first thought after the win was how I wish he was alive to see it. GBO!!!
I will always remember my dad beaming with excitement while listening to the 82 game on the radio. I was too little to realize the gravity of the situation, but I knew it was a cool moment with my dad. I appreciate your sentiment.

likewise. My dad died last year. He would have been flipping out.
Same here . My Dad is jumping up and down in Heaven right now. I Live on the Alabama border and work there. We are on a long outage and the game was playing on computers thruout the the mill.. I left work at Bama in the lead and when we kicked the winning field goal I pulled off the shoulder of the highway still in Alabama and screamed F___k Alabama. Im going back at 5 am in the morning in a bright Orange TN shirt for the morning meeting. Some wont show for work. LOL

I have no shame in admitting I cried too after win, work has been so stressful lately, this provided the joy I had been needing. I live in the Dallas and my family and went out to eat after the game and I had my Vols jersey on and complete strangers were congratulating me. What a great night! Go Vols!!
