I’m not discrediting the sweep

Tennessee needs to maintain this edge they played with against the Losendores! There isnt a team left on their schedule that they could not win their series against.

Ole Miss proved last year that a team with a mediocre start can win it all if they just get to the regionals. Don't say the Vols will do the same but it appears the second half of the season could be a lot more fun than the first half. We can only hope.
The sweep was great! With strong confidence in each other and as a team, it gave me flashbacks of last year. This team has the pieces to make a serious run and maybe the timing is just right. Go basevols!

They play a tougher schedule than about anybody. They played #15 TCU, #9 Oklahoma St., 3 games against #17 UCLA, Texas, Nebraska, Minnesota and #18 Maryland before conference play. Then swept #3 Ole Miss and took 2 of 3 from South Carolina. Your opinion doesn’t line up with the facts.

Here's some facts for you. The 13-2 record I referred to was their SEC record compiled against Ole Miss, Miss St, Ga, Missouri and SC. I never mentioned anything about their non-con schedule. The "#3 Ole MIss" you referred to is 3-15 in the SEC, solidly in last place. Vandy SEC opponents have a 34-55 conference record including SC's 13-4. Taking out the SC record, their other opponents are 21-51. After watching that team play, that Vandy SEC record has more to do with who they have played than how they played.

Of Vanderbilt. Beating those bastards is sweet. And they thought they owned college baseball just a couple yrs ago.

But them being 13-2 was a farce. They’re not as good as Fla or LSU or Ark IMO. They are very weak in the pitching dept.

We played really well pitching was outstanding. Vandy is a really good team capable of making it to Omaha. Tennessee has the pieces to get there as well but we still need to see consistency. So I am holding judgment until I see what they do this weekend to average pitching staff at home we should with our pitching sweep the bullies then go on the road to other Bulldogs. In CHRIST Alone

Vanderbilt does not appear to be what they were in the pre-conference schedule.

Here is Vanderbilt's early SEC Scheduled

Ole Miss
@ Mississippi State
Georgia
@Missouri
South Carolina

Those first 4 weeks were very soft as the SEC decided to make Arkansas, LSU and Tennessee play a round robin of death.

Kentucky's schedule gets MUCH harder the last month of season and Vanderbilt is still a bit weaker than UK's. Vandy does not play LSU, Arkansas or Texas A&M (the top 3 teams in west)

Because of this weaker schedule, Vanderbilt has a better chance than anyone to win the division. If they find some pitching. They close the season @ Florida and hosting Arkansas

Shutting him down is a feat in itself. He may could not hit in MLB right now, but he could play centerfield for any team right now.

Absolutely. I usually sit in the back of LNS and I started mentally drawing lines of where he was catching balls. The ground he was covering, without looking very stressed mind you, was insane.

Had to applaud him more than a couple times. Wouldn't mind seeing in my MLB teams colors at all.
