I am thankful for gallstones. Yes, gallstones. In 2009 I had an ultra-sound to see if I had gallstones, and I did. If I had not had problems resulting from the stones the doctors possibly would not have found out I had kidney cancer before it was to late.

Thankful for my dad who took me to my first VOLS game at Neyland Stadium

For my mom who was a bama fan until her teary eyed 9 year old told her all I want from Legion Field in 74 is for her to be a vol fan and she was and still is to this day. The love of a mother, is the greatest thing in the world

My wife and our 4 sons ( even the one who pulls for auburn)

The Corn that comes in a jar

The childhood memories of John Ward painting the pictures that my eyes could not see as i layed in my bed listening to the games

To all my childhood fellow VOL fans ( growing up in al. during the bear's heyday was a b!tch)

My fellow Volunteers who say us when talking about the VOLS.

Many many other things but these are the ones I love the most.

In tribute to 99gator, I am particularly grateful for the following victories over his beloved Lizards: 38-7 (1970), 45-3 (1990), 31-14 (1992), 20-17 (1998) and 34-32 (2001).

I am thankful to be taking my 5 year old to his very first tennessee game saturday! We will be in z13 and he couldnt be more excited.

I thankful for the day about 30 years ago i turned the tv on, to watch football, and there was this team in orange wit a T on their helmet.. i was like who is this team? Watched the game, fell in love with the team and was hooked.. fell in love with the style of play, the passionate fanbase, and knew this is the team i will follow my whole life. Then i got connected with my long lost grandaddy, and found out he was from tennessee, told me all about the tradition of UT, and bought me my first tennessee shirt.. so im thankful for him, and finding my team on that day when i was a kid... Happy thanksgiving everybody..

I am thankful for birth control and large amounts of water separating specific continents.
