We would have the best resume of the one loss teams…unless you are speculating purely on media biasIt likely wouldn't have mattered considering UGA, TCU and Mich. are going to be undefeated conference Champs. And then you got Ohio St with 1 loss and a USC conference champ team. So we likely would have lost out. Probably 5th if all that plays out even if we beat SC. Just being realistic.
We beat both teams. We beat the dog piss out of LSU at their house to boot.
did you get your answer to this ? LSU is in the SEC Championship game because they only have 2 conference loses and own the head to head with Bama. They were locked into the championship game last week regardless of the TAM game. They lost the first game of the year to Florida St. and that loss does not count in SEC standings. So, LSU and Bama each have two conference losses but LSU Beat Bama so they are in.lol it does matter.
