For any Kiffin supporters, can you answer me one thing? If he is as good as you think he is, then why hasnt any major program hired him?

Not a Kiffin supporter, but I do think he’s that good. He’s just too immature and spoiled to coach a major program.

Because he has to do his time so to speak for leaving ut then bama like he did. Hes making fun of his own school atm. He knows its temporary. He may end up at auburn soon...who knows. I believe he wants sec. I keep thinking vanderbuilt or kentucky might pitch him.

He will end up at somewhere with low standards like Louisville, when they clean house and purge Harley Bobby.

I'm curious. You don't care what anybody says about something, so you start a thread about it to find out what people will say. Have I got it right?

Oh, so you're a semantics professor? It took you almost 51,000 posts to come up with something this brilliant? With that number of posts, you probably just throw out an inane comment on everything on here anyway. Sheez.

I feel like this guy is growing up and has gotten some class. I'm very happy with CJP, but otherwise, I think Kiffin would have been great.

Wish him a lot of success somewhere outside the SEC..lol

FAU’s Lane Kiffin: In his first season at the school, the well-traveled Kiffin led the Owls (10-3) to a win in the Conference USA Championship Game, as FAU became only the league’s second team to finish the regular season undefeated and win the title game. Kiffin led one of the best turnarounds in the FBS, as FAU was 3-9 year ago. The Owls, who have won nine straight games after a 1-3 start, will play Akron in the Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl.

You are a simple man.

You have posted about 1 thing for several weeks now.

I think you have a crush on Lane Kiffin.

LK might have grown up and might be a good coach but its hard to make a determination after one year. He went 10-3 with a schedule where his opponents went 79-65 (.549) and played only one ranked team. He went 8-0 in the conference where his opponents were 48-49 (.495). Nothing glowing. Just means he was the smartest kid in the special ed class, not valedictorian of the school.

Here's the thing...and it's a blanket statement we've used on VN to complain about other coaching candidates...so, I feel it is completely relevant to LK as well.

There have been a total of 20 head coaching positions in FBS alone this season. Lane Kiffin's name was associated only with UT, atleast on VN anyway. I have not seen anything that confirms he was a serious candidate or even interviewed at all for any of the 20 vacancies. By our own logic so revered by many on this message board, that means he sucks. Not worth it.

Funniest thing I've seen all week.

Lane needs to stay in California or Florida.

His immature personality doesn't work anywhere else.
