They were excited. But the team looks terrible. They were lucky to win 5 games and they looked worse towards the end of the season than the beginning.

Who does everyone want? Mike Leach would be target #1. After that, anyone who knows 3 plays is qualified.

They lost playmakers on D - I can't get a great read on their class, they have a 4* LB (Henderson) who I think was committed to UT and opened up his recruitment. They should be more effective on offense next year - starting from the skill positions. 4* QB Towels is coming in and if he doesn't see much PT he'll at least make Smith work for it during spring ball and into the summer. They've signed a 4* RB Justin Taylor or was a AL commit until they asked him to greyshirt... Folks have said Joker's classes have been good and now they're starting to be Juniors so it's time to see some results. Tee Martin gave an interview where he said the UT win has been a boost to recruiting so there is that...

It is always hard for UK to compete for top SEC recruits they need to be able to spot value and employ good coaching to make moves in this conference...if they can do that over the long run, they may find recruiting easier.

I think I was a whole 8 years old when I realized that every year people same the same thing, either its...we got a new coach, a new QB, a great class or just a plain out "we're getting better", its all BS.

They're terrible and will always be. UK missed the bus a few years ago when they should have fired Brooks and hired that a$$hole Petrino. He's a prick but he wins. Other than that, no good coach is going to take a step down.

Come on fellas, UK football is like Duke or IU football, you're not going to see any of them win something significant unless you drink a quart of kerosene and bump your head.

And you can save me the story of how Grampa Brooks succeeded by winning unheard of bowl games that had as much interest (outside the state) as a Donkey show in Tijuana.

meh i dont mind em. its only 1 month a year and it always ends with them losing a game they should have won. the are quiet enough the rest of the year..and it means baseball is near

one wildcat i find hard to hate is anthony davis. That guy is special and not short bus special like jones or lamb but a really good player. I like watching the guy

I don't remember any guy I've ever seen in college as dominate as him defensively. I live in Connecticut when okafor was there and it's not even close. Davis changes the entire game, and the fact he blocks so many shots without being in foul trouble ever is amazing. As you said very special player, and special in a good way.
