I think you may have missed my point. I understand they could make a list, maybe even they are, but that by itself means nothing. But as soon as that list is used in a way that tramples rights, I will be standing there right next to you in protest.

For everybody to see who wanted to? Yes, I would have concerns over privacy if my personal information was attached to it.

Otherwise, no, as long as they aren't being illegally downloaded or tapped from my computer. But there is nothing stopping a concerned citizen (whether they should be concerned or not) relaying something I say in an email to a government agency. People do it all the time with terrorism threats, threats of personal harm, etc...

It's how the email is used that is the issue.
