I feel bad for Vandy upright players under dark cloud

The only person I feel sorry for is the victim. If it comes out that the coaches knew something about it and tried to cover it up, I hope they fry!!

You can always be counted on for a thread from left field brah... Takes all kinds to make the world go round... Take solace in the fact that your existence is a reminder to the rest of us that we may, in fact, be somewhat normal

If folks are guilty, they should be convicted and sentenced appropriately. That's a judicial problem, not a 15 yard penalty.

EDITED: I got to enjoy the cyber-space ride from the Vol football section.

His threads are so bad that even he doesn't return to post in them.

All of that stuff has already been investigated. Vandy couldn't have handled a very bad situation any better. When u look at the Jamis Winston case it shows u how most schools handle things by covering them up.

The part where one of the players who was dismissed from the team still attending classes under a football scholarship, you think that is handling the situation well?

His charges will be dismissed and though what he did was wrong he didn't rape anyone. There was no cover up.

So what he did was worthy of being dismissed from the team.........but not from the school. He gets to ride the scholly for at least the year?

Forgive me if the situation is confusing and somewhat odd.

So being an accessory to the rape is no big deal? Is that what I'm getting from your post?

But telling people to delete videos, delete texts, cheering on in the background and whatnot are surely as guilty as the person(s) involved in the actual rape.

I love it when fans try to downplay a crime as "no big deal."

A lot of my fellow Vandy fan friends think he may be allowed to rejoin the team next year. He will be cleared of any wrong doing once the trial is over.

Just to be clear, Vandy does not have a lot of fans. Understand that. If you and the other vandy fan think he will be cleared, then why was he dismissed in the first place?

How do you define "wrong doing?" Call me crazy, but helping your rapist teammates cover up their heinous act seems "wrong" to me.

As far as the law is concerned he will be cleared after the trial. He is testifying for the prosecution. I don't like what he did but if he's cleared that's pretty much the end of it.

You're obviously not a law student at Vandy, or even Nashville school of law.
