I absolutely detest the Georgia Bulldogs. They have been enemy #1 for basically 60 percent of my life. ND and the Suckeyes are merely hated. My irrational loathing of the Dogs has no bounds.

I returned to the Dallas area Tuesday after being in E TN for the holidays. The last four days have been rather irritating. If I hear one more loudmouth "TCU fan since November" gloating about their season, I'm not gonna be responsible for what happens. Most of the fools live 30 minutes away from the TCU campus and could not find it without GPS if their life depended on it. People here have lost their minds. Front running idiots.

In view of the week I have experienced-I hope Georgia waxes them Monday night. I survived the Bama dynasty, I can survive another Georgia championship. Just can't stomach these fools talking about the "great and historic" Hornfrog program any longer. TCU needs their pants pulled down and their cheeks reddened on national TV. I may have to move if TCU wins. Things are that funky.

I need to go take a shower with sandpaper to get this stench off me.

Your position is entirely understandable. Just remember that, being a divisional and conference rival, it is detrimental to our purposes, as Tennessee fans, for Georgia to gain additional momentum by winning another national championship.

I completely understand that view point. And respect it...

But TCU is not even in the same stratosphere as my hatred for UGA and BAMA... TCU winning on a miracle year is a cool story and doesn't really affect Tennessee... However if UGA wins, the continued dominance of UGA/Bama, will continue to make it harder for TN to continue to climb and sustain national relevance.

So I will be cheering for the miracle year of Destiny to happen to TCU and prove everyone wrong and knock off UGA.

I mean I know logically that you are correct.

My deal with the proverbial devil though would be for them to go ahead and TCOB Monday and shut up these obnoxious TCU "fans" and THEN have another 40+ year streak of not winning jack. We take them down in about 9-10 months and the natural order of things is restored.

Honestly, the (very) few actual TCU fans around here I don't mind. They are usually pretty low key and I have never had issues with them in over a decade of living here. These people who were decked out in Texas and A&M gear four months ago but now profess their "longstanding" TCU fandom rather obnoxiously, screw 'em. Kid you not, goober down the street rolled home a few days ago with a full on TCU car wrap. Flags outta each window, whole nine yards. Dude went to school at VT and just moved here last summer. Group of guys from the neighborhood (including him) went to a Cowboy game early in the season and were talking about the weekends college games on the drive there. He didn't even know at the time TCU was located in the Metroplex. The sports radio stations are filled with yahoos that would make Finebaums Bama legion blush with embarrassment. I want to see them go down in humiliating fashion.

I know I'm not being a team player here. I'm sorry.

I dont hate Georgia as a football team but I cant stand their fans. I have said this for years. It is hard for me to root for Georgia because of their fans. It is also hard for me to root for TCU because to me, somehow they made it into a territory that they arent suppose to be in. Every year we get that darling team that makes it higher in the ranking than they are use to being. These teams arent suppose to play for a national championship. Its suppose to be the blue bloods, the teams that are top 20 in all time wins. It is suppose to be Texas toward the top not Texas Christian. So, who do I root for? The SEC rival but also family member that has the most toxic fans in college football. Or do I root for the darling team that I dont like being in the National Championship because they dont belong?

I could careless about TCU and their fans.....Georgia sucks. I hope TCU beats Georgia by 1 or 100. TCU hasn't won a championship since '47 or something like that. Let them stick their chest out for a little while. Georgia and their fans are the worst ever. I would never rout for Kirby and the bulldogs. Go TCU is what I say.

Nope. No chance I pull for UGA. TCU is having a dream, once in a lifetime type year. I can forgive bandwagon types and those TCU fans who've taken to yardwork on Saturdays since they had nothing else to do because their team stunk. I've been there. So go hornfrogs. Finish the mutts off and break their mangy hearts.

The unmitigated arrogance of the Dawg fans is unbearable for any of us that live, or has lived, near them. I lived in GA for 30 years and the last 2-3 years was miserable from a football perspective. Now I’ve been in Alabama for a little over a year, and believe it or not, their fans are not nearly as bad, especially THIS year. in order to shut up the obnoxious dawgs barking we just need to beat them like a drum for a couple of years rather than hope someone else does it for us.

Just root for TCU to have a miserable season next year and fall from grace. Have cake and eat it.

Realistically though, unless Bennett pulls a McCarthy and throws about three pick sixes, this game won’t be close. That’s not likely to happen since Bennett is old enough to be JJ’s dad and has the benefit of experience to keep him from making as many mistakes.

I am older than most on here, when I was growing up, Georgia and Florida weren't really rivals. We played both only sporadically. I grew up hating Alabama much more than anyone. I still do. While my distaste for both Florida and Georgia has risen over the years, it still wasn't enough for me to pull for Bama last year. This year, I have no qualms about pulling for TCU, though I understand your situation.

What do you expect? It's TCU and they're in the Championship game lol. They have a right to be proud of it. It's not like it's going to be a normal thing for them. I'm sure UGA fans are just as bad if not 10x worse.

I'll never root for a rival...much less UGA to win a National Championship.. That makes ZERO sense to me. Not only will they brag about it and we'll have to hear about it for the next 10 years or more but they'll use it to recruit against us and win those battles. It directly impacts our program vs getting on your nerves for a couple of weeks because you live in the area? Is this really a debate? Lol

if TCU pulls it out (doubtful) then it will devastate Georgias ego and the end begins. And I'm all for it.

My hate for the Bulldogs is because of family that lives in Georgia and it makes them so obnoxious and that stupid announcers call every time we play them they have to replay that. We got Bama this year and i think we can win next year but at Bama it will be tough. I just hope we beat Georgia like a step child next year in Knoxville.

Bandwagon fans happen everywhere and I'm sure TCU has plenty right now. Their team, however, is a bunch of regular guys who've paid their dues to get here, and I find it hard to dislike that. I hope Georgia wins, but I'm expecting a battle from this very experienced TCU team.

Yep. Same with the Vandy baseball fans that come out of the woodwork when they are doing well

It looks good when you defeat a recent national champion, as our Vols did by beating 3 of the last 4 NC in a single year, so a Georgia win makes TN beating them next year look even better. Beating the big boys is how you get the annual recognition, aka, a higher ranking and a better seed in next years playoff. Kills me to say it but, go puppies.

MY HATE
70s-80s Bama
90s-00s Florida, Bama, UGA did not matter in the 90s, became a danger to us in the 00s
10s Bama, Florida, then UGA
20s Bama, UGA, then Florida

C’mon op…have a little patience for the good of the program. It doesn’t matter how annoying those TCU fans are…we don’t recruit against them every year. Uga winning back to back championships is bad for us. Uga will have a legit dynasty claim to be made if they win another one. They’re essentially doing what bama did a decade ago only their head coach is a young guy with potentially decades ahead of him. I hope TCU wins…no matter how annoying their fan base might be.
