I feel dirty for saying this......

Yes, GA and Bama regularly have top rated classes, but Heupel has clearly shown that he can take players who are reasonably good but not top rated and make them winners, so I don't think a GA win will hurt the Vols that much. With a little better players, especially on D, he will get the Vols to the top. GBO!!!

It’s only going to go two ways:

Georgia wins easily.
TCU finds a way to keep it close early but the magic runs out.

I absolutely detest the Georgia Bulldogs. They have been enemy #1 for basically 60 percent of my life. ND and the Suckeyes are merely hated. My irrational loathing of the Dogs has no bounds.

I returned to the Dallas area Tuesday after being in E TN for the holidays. The last four days have been rather irritating. If I hear one more loudmouth "TCU fan since November" gloating about their season, I'm not gonna be responsible for what happens. Most of the fools live 30 minutes away from the TCU campus and could not find it without GPS if their life depended on it. People here have lost their minds. Front running idiots.

In view of the week I have experienced-I hope Georgia waxes them Monday night. I survived the Bama dynasty, I can survive another Georgia championship. Just can't stomach these fools talking about the "great and historic" Hornfrog program any longer. TCU needs their pants pulled down and their cheeks reddened on national TV. I may have to move if TCU wins. Things are that funky.

I need to go take a shower with sandpaper to get this stench off me.
I hope TCU wins 72 0.

Yeah my favorite quote or saying about this type of topic is…

Cheering for (Bama/UGA) cause they’re in the SEC, is like cheering for the Devil cause he’s in the Bible.

Not getting religious just thought it’s a funny and accurate quote. I will always cheer for what’s best for Tennessee personally which typically coincides with cheering against who I hate. Although not a big OSU or Mich fan but was cheering for them over UGA

I live in the D/FW area and I am not seeing what you are seeing. Yes, the amount of purple attire has tripled over recent weeks, but I have engaged with several and they are all pretty humble, glad to be where they are and know that Georgia is a formidable opponent. I go up to them and show them my T Vols water bottle and say I am Vol fan that hates Georgia and hope you win and they are nice in return. On the other hand, just for fun I went up to a person with a Georgia phone case and said, "Go SEC brethren" (please understand it's hard to tell such a lie!) and got the cocky, "We gonna win, book it" response. All in all, I have enjoyed the past week here. Go Frogs!

Nice take but I would add a litte penicillin just to make sure everything gets cleared up. 😃

It's just crazy to me that Bama is on the backside of a dynasty and Georgia is on the upside and we are only 1 of 2 teams in the country that have to play them every year. Add in the inexplicable struggles with UF and the frustration is almost unbearable. We might backdoor our way into a SECCG every once in a while, but even that will take beating one of UF or UGA. The last time we beat all 3 in the same year we won the NC.

I'm of the opinion that the USC game was a one-off, but our schedule is just rough, even in "easy" years. Even this year including the bowl, we played the last 4 NC's and went 3-1 against them. Just feels we have a steeper climb than others.

Hopefully we have got past the UF thing, but it's going to take more than mental struggles to overcome the Turds and Dawgs on an annual basis.

All that said, Go Frogs! I have zero interest in experiencing another dynasty with an annual opponent.

You think all those Georgia fans out there have been "lifelong fans"? Lol come on man, you described pretty much every fanbase that starts to win. I even remember Vol fans coming out of the woodworks in the 90s who probably became Alabama fans around 2008.
